The Blanket Flower Gaillardia grandiflora is a perennial plant growing to 40cm high x 60cm wide. Frosty hardy down to -10c and drought hardy once established. Great in a cottage garden as a feature plant or for a border. Deadhead regularly for more flowers. Thrives in a well-drained soil but will tolerate most soil conditions. Prefers full sun to part shade. Can be susceptible to powdery mildew.
Sow seeds in Spring, Summer and Autumn 6mm deep. Seedlings emerge within 14 days.
